Moto Z Play Spotted Running Android 8.0 OREO


ANDROID OREO UPDATE FOR  MOTO Z PLAY

A recent Geekbench listing clearly reveals that the Motorola has begun the testing Android Oreo for Moto Z Play.


Sadly, there's no confirmation yet on the date, when the update will roll out.Hopefully we can assume that it doesn't take too long if the testing goes smoothly.

Android 8.0 Oreo on ASUS Zenfone 2 laser / Max

Step by step instructions to update your Asus Zenfone in to Android 8.0 Oreo (Lineage OS)




Follow these steps:

Step 1: Download these resources
             For ASUS Zenfone MAX
            TWRP Recovery  Z010D-3.0.3.0 -  Download
               Lineage OS 15.0-20170902 unofficial-Z010D - Download 
               Gapps for Oreo(Lineage OS 15) - Downlod
            For ASUS Zenfone Laser 2
             Lineage OS 15.0-20170913 unofficial-Zool - Download
             Gapps for Oreo(Lineage OS 15) - Downlod
Step 2: Enable USB Debugging
            First step - To enable Developer Mode
            Settings - About - Software Information - Tap 7 - 8 times on Build Number to enable                            Developer Mode
            Second Step - To enable USB Debugging 
            Settings - Developer Options -  Enable USB Debugging
Step 3: Then connect your Smart Phone to your PC using data cable
             copy downloaded Linage OS and G apps Files to your Smart Phone's Memory card and make sure your phone have at least 50% of charge.
Step 4: Make sure that you installed ADB Drivers on your PC
Step 5: Extract the recovery file in to a new folder and then open command window from that folder(Shift+Right click)
Step 6: Type these following commands to Flash the recovery image file to your smart phone
           adb devices
           adb reboot bootloader
           fastboot devices
           fasboot flash recovery (name of the recovery).img
           fastboot boot (name of the recovery).img

Step 7: Wipe Dalvik/ART cache, System, Data, Internal, Cache, and ASDF Using That newly flashed recovery
Step 8: After That Flash Lineage OS and Gapps in a sequence and wipe cache and Dalvik at the END
First Boot will take some time, please be patient.
